Being a day of torrential rainfall in Portland,OR, this was the
perfect time to find dry homes for two of the Hitch Hikers in my
backpack. Mickey Takes a Hike rode with me back to the Pacific
Northwest from Texas compliments of Continental Airlines, a far cry
from the mode of transport preferred by his current companion.

After endless whining about coffee, Giant Flying Donuts finally
convinced me to set them free. A cup of tea and a brownie later, we
